Claremore, Oklahoma

Claremore is the hometown of Will Rogers, Oklahoma’s favourite son.  He was an Oklahoma Indian, a cowboy, an entertainer, a movie and Broadway star, a writer, a speaker, a comedian, a philosopher and a world figure who died in 1935 in a plane crash.

 He has many honours and tributes and even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Will Roger's Family Ranch

We visited the Dog Iron Ranch (family ranch and Will Roger’s birthplace) which has a beautiful view over the lake.  All the children were born in this beautiful farm villa.
