What happens in Vegas...

Luckily we won’t relive any scenes from THE HANGOVER, as we are well-behaved, responsible adults...LOL!  So we can tell you all about our visit to Vegas.

We stayed at Circus Circus in Las Vegas, which has 3770 newly refurbished rooms.  All the hotels on upper strip are newly remodeled.  They all form part of a Casino.  You pay for a room and resort fees and tax. (very similar to Sun City in SA).  Celine Dion, Prince William and many other A-listers stayed here.  There is a street with Wedding Chapels around every corner.  Las Vegas is the city where the most weddings take place every day.  They even have a Drive-Thru Chapel??  What happened to the sanctity of marriage...??

We took a night tour of the city in a hop-on-hop-off bus.  The rain was pouring down, but that didn't stop us.   Each one of us received a Rain Poncho.  The lights were so beautiful; no rain could stop us from seeing that.  The bus stopped down town at Golden Nugget.  We were told that at 9 o'clock the lights will go out and the BIGGEST BIG SCREEN on the Planet will then start with a show.  Words can’t describe this.  Las Vegas made me feel like "Alice in Wonderland" - shopping, gambling, walking, sight-seeing and VERY little sleep.  We were all very glad to have had the privilege to be able to visit the infamous Sin City!
