Cuba Town

The Route 66 town of Cuba was named by the citisens to show sympathy for the island of Cuba.  The shops here all have beautiful murals as signage.  The murals are the brain child of Fran Eickhoff of Cuba, Board Member of the Route 66 Association.  She wanted to embrace and celebrate their Route 66 heritage and history and this was the result.

Just four miles west of Cuba, we visited the world’s biggest rocking chair.

Danny's Gas Hole is a shop with interesting T Shirts with different Quotes of Route 66, as well as collectables.  Hans bought one for his bar.
