In Joplin we stop for Daniel to take a picture and were invited to come and have a lemonade for free????? There we meet Gary. What an interesting man. He has an unbelievable passion for Route 66 and is a walking encyclopaedia. We were not allowed to leave, without a book of the route, flag and cherry syrup which we should have with our vanilla ice cream in Oklahoma...
