Near the small town of Groom stands a cross of proportions that that can
hardly be believed. One can not resist the urge to visit this cross...And then you come across the most beautiful sight - The
story of the crucifixion of Jesus is spelled out step by step in graphic
sculpture from Jesus teaching by a pool to Jesus being tried by Pilate
to Jesus being nailed on the cross to the empty tomb.
The portrayal starts with Jesus teaching by the pool, then we move on to the "Last Supper". This is followed by Jesus being tried by Pilate, Jesus and a soldier and Jesus and the Cross. Jesus then falls under the Cross and a woman comforts Him...followed by Jesus being nailed to the Cross and then hanging on the Cross. Everything ends with the Empty Tomb.
This was so beautiful and emotional and made us revisit again, exactly what Jesus went through and what He did for us!!
